                                                                 THE PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL
 
The Parish Pastoral Council consists of eight parishioners who assist the pastor in fostering the pastoral activity the parish.  The members include the pastor, a chairperson, a representative from each of the pastoral committees of the parish, a representative of the Parish Council of Catholic Women, a representative of the Santa Maria Council of the Knight of Columbus, and a representative of the Finance Council.
 
Catholic Education Committee  The Catholic  Education Committee assists the Pastoral Council in fostering the educational aspect of the pastoral mission of the parish, which includes evangelization, adult education, catechetics, our Catholic school, missionary activity, and ecumenism. 
 
Family Life Committee  The Family Life Committee assists the Pastoral Council in fostering Christian family life in the parish.  Among its concerns are: the central place of the family in all parish pastoral activities; parish hospitality and social activities; youth ministry; vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life; pre-marriage preparation; marriage enrichment; natural family planning; and the pastoral care of single adult Catholics, divorced Catholics, divorced and remarried Catholics, and widows and widowers.
 
Sacred Worship Committee  The Sacred Worship Committee assists the Pastoral Council in fostering the devotional and liturgical life of the parish as celebrated in the Sacraments and other rites and rituals of the Church, with special attention to the sick and isolated of the parish.
 
Social Justice Committee  The Social Justice Committee assists the Pastoral Council in fostering concern and action for justice in the world.  It is concerned with promoting respect for all human life; the pastoral care of the afflicted, the needy, and the imprisoned; the pastoral care of migrants and refugees; just structures in the parish; stewardship; and a greater understanding of the Church's teaching on social justice.

                                                                       THE PARISH FINANCE COUNCIL
 
The Parish Finance Council consists of six parishioners who give council to the pastor regarding the administration of the temporal goods of the parish.  The members include the pastor, a chairperson, a representative from each of the finance committees of the parish, and a member who represents the Finance Council at Pastoral Council meetings.
 
Budget Committee  The Budget Committee assists the Finance Council in preparing and monitoring a yearly budget for the parish.
 
Bishop's Annual Appeal Committee  The Bishop's Annual Appeal Committee assists the Finance Council in implementing and monitoring the Bishop's Annual Appeal.
 
Buildings & Grounds Committee  The Buildings & Grounds Committee assists the Finance Council in assessing the care and maintenance of the parish properties.
 
Cemetery Committee  The Cemetery Committee consists of the officers of the Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery Association and a delegate who communicates the Association's activities to the Finance Council.
