March News
Lent
Lent began on Wednesday, February 17th, and will continue for the next 6 weeks. We encourage the children to say special prayers, put money in their mite boxes for the missions, or do a little Lenten sacrifice such as giving up a favorite food, beverage, or activity. We also encourage them to choose one way to improve their lives by doing good for others. Prayer, almsgiving, and fasting are all ways children can participate in the Lenten season.
Parents are invited to join us for mass each Wednesday at 8:30. In addition, they will pray the Stations of the Cross on Fridays at 10:45. Parents are encouraged to join their children in prayer. All students in grades 2-8 will attend confession during the month of March.
